Zoopla has this morning been announced as the Official Property Partner of England Cricket.

The partnership will showcase Zoopla to new consumer audiences across England and Wales, and the portal hopes that this will encourage them to use Zoopla for their next key home decision.

Zoopla will also be working with the England and Wales Cricket Board to sponsor national grassroots initiatives and contribute to the development of the cricket community across the country. This will provide the opportunity to increase brand awareness in local communities.

Zoopla’s marketing team has identified cricket in part due to its strong audience fit with over half of its fan base between 35 to 64, aligning with key homeowner and mover audiences. Zoopla also says it will leverage cricket’s regional network and passionate fanbases to showcase its local data and expertise.

Charlie Bryant, CEO of Zoopla and Houseful said: “We are delighted to be partnering with England Cricket as its official property partner. Like Zoopla, which is known by over 90% of UK adults, cricket is part of our national fabric and we are excited to be supporting it at the national through to grassroots level.

“With the sport’s strong following in the core home mover audience and the cricketing heartlands in the Midlands and North of England, we are also excited about the benefits that Zoopla’s increased consumer visibility will bring to our agent and housebuilder customers.”

Tony Singh, chief commercial officer at the ECB, commented: “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Zoopla. Working with such a well-known brand will help to take cricket into the heart of even more communities. As well as seeing Zoopla at our venues, we’re also excited to work with them on grassroots initiatives, supporting our ambition to become the most inclusive team sport in England and Wales.”
